Who is Carvin Jones? Like a ghost who came outta nowhere, Carvin showed up on a Facebook clip playing the most electric Stevie Ray Vaughan blues guitar on a 5 second clip so convincing we had to see him live. No label, no packaged tour, he was playing a Church(!) in Ellicott City(!!) on a self-booked self-run tour across the country (out the back of a van). Had no idea what to expect from that mysterious clip, but, boy, did (Phoenix-based) Carvin deliver, playing the blues guitar with an wild unrelenting ferocity, yet with the ease of a showman
