Before I first moved to NYC, when I stayed at my friend Ginger's AirBnB, I always appreciated the heavy plates, mugs and bowls she offered there for meals. They were handmade from Juniper Moon Studios, located way out in the wilds of Paradise Utah. The dishes' solid feel and earthy colors felt like permanence in an ever-changing world. So, a decade later, I bought a set for my own apartment, and I look forward to using them in the decades to come.
